Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and carry throughout a full shift
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and use housekeeping equipment safely
- Dependable and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to undergo training and adhere to safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow cleaning protocols with strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude with excellent time management skills
- Willingness to complete required training and safety certifications upon hire
Job Duties
- Clean resident apartments and common areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces to ensure a healthy, pleasant environment
- Manage laundry services by washing, drying, and folding linens and personal clothing with care
- Restock housekeeping supplies and keep storage areas neat and organized
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment to reduce health risks and improve quality of life
- Follow resident schedules and preferences when performing services to promote comfort and satisfaction
- Alert leadership to maintenance concerns or safety hazards noticed during rounds
- Collaborate with care staff and other departments to meet resident needs
- Assist during special events, seasonal deep cleans, or when a teammate needs support
- Treat residents and coworkers with kindness, dignity, and respect at all times
