Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and carry throughout a full shift
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and use housekeeping equipment safely
  • Dependable and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to undergo training and adhere to safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to follow cleaning protocols with strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude with excellent time management skills
  • Willingness to complete required training and safety certifications upon hire

Job Duties

  • Clean resident apartments and common areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces
  • Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces to ensure a healthy, pleasant environment
  • Manage laundry services by washing, drying, and folding linens and personal clothing with care
  • Restock housekeeping supplies and keep storage areas neat and organized
  • Help maintain a clean and safe environment to reduce health risks and improve quality of life
  • Follow resident schedules and preferences when performing services to promote comfort and satisfaction
  • Alert leadership to maintenance concerns or safety hazards noticed during rounds
  • Collaborate with care staff and other departments to meet resident needs
  • Assist during special events, seasonal deep cleans, or when a teammate needs support
  • Treat residents and coworkers with kindness, dignity, and respect at all times
