Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk long distances up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, reach and stretch repeatedly
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds independently
- Ability to push or pull wheeled carts and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds
- Ability to operate a vacuum and work in confined spaces
- Must be willing to work weekends as needed
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a great attitude
- No travel required
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Professional housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license required
- Must work independently with little supervision
Job Duties
- Provide a clean and safe environment our residents can be proud of
- Perform general housekeeping duties in living units such as vacuuming, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting surfaces
- Perform general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed
- Accomplish all work in the order of priority set by the Director and Environmental Services Supervisor
- Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition
- Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned
- Maintain resident confidentiality at all times
