Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Ability to stand and walk long distances up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, reach and stretch repeatedly
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds independently
  • Ability to push or pull wheeled carts and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to operate a vacuum and work in confined spaces
  • Must be willing to work weekends as needed
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a great attitude
  • No travel required

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Professional housekeeping experience preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must work independently with little supervision

Job Duties

  • Provide a clean and safe environment our residents can be proud of
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in living units such as vacuuming, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting surfaces
  • Perform general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed
  • Accomplish all work in the order of priority set by the Director and Environmental Services Supervisor
  • Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition
  • Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned
  • Maintain resident confidentiality at all times
