Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
one to three months related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
must be able to walk, stand, climb stairs or ladders, and access various areas of the property
may be required to push or pull items and reach overhead
may be required to bend, stoop or kneel
must have dexterity of hands and fingers and ability to grasp tools
must be able to see to perform inspections and read computer screens
must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
may occasionally lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally heavier items with assistance
must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
work based on site with exposure to outdoor elements
may require working in confined spaces, heights and potentially hazardous areas

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred

ability to follow safety protocols and property maintenance standards
strong teamwork and communication skills
physical ability to perform cleaning, lifting, and maintenance tasks

Job Duties

Perform regular custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal
complete grounds work such as picking up trash, cleaning dumpster areas, trash rooms and chutes, blowing parking areas and sidewalks, removing debris, and power washing
thoroughly clean breezeways including removal of cobwebs, bugs in lights, mopping floors, power washing, and wiping down doors and handrails
collaborate with maintenance team members, other departments, and external contractors to ensure seamless property maintenance
assess property safety and cleanliness standards ensuring compliance with regulations
maintain property condition by delivering notices to apartments and performing interior and exterior painting tasks
