Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as iron, washer and dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums
- Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Effective communication skills in English
- Knowledge of sanitation practices
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Basic computer proficiency

Job Duties
- Clean public areas and resident's apartments including bathrooms, kitchens, patios, windows, floors, furniture, and common areas
- Perform all housekeeping duties including distributing laundered articles and linens, changing beds, cleaning public restrooms and replenishing supplies, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors, cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, dusting furniture and equipment, polishing metalwork, washing walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
- Perform all laundry duties including washing and drying resident laundry and textiles, folding and/or hanging laundry, distributing laundered articles and linens, changing bed linens
- Maintain resident laundry areas including mopping floors, washing walls, and checking lint traps
- Wash windows at reasonable heights throughout the community
- Keep utility and storage rooms clean and orderly
- Disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies
- Stock the cleaning cart with supplies
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal areas
- Work with maintenance to ensure trash and dumpster areas are clean
- Request maintenance work orders for repairs
- Report resident issues or changes in health or living status
- Report unsafe conditions or maintenance-related issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
