Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift for extended periods
- Must be honest, friendly and trustworthy
- Ability to handle guest requests and resolve minor issues
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management skills
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must comply with health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset

- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties
- Ability to handle guest requests professionally
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation standards
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
- Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends
Job Duties
- Make beds and change out linens/towels
- Vacuum carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies
- Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
- Sweep and mop floors
- Dust, polish furniture and equipment
- Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies and bathroom items
- Clean kitchen areas and dishes
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
- Respond promptly to requests by guests and other department managers
- Observe precautions to protect guests and hotel property
- Report all theft, damage and found property to the Supervisor or Manager on Duty
- Assist in cleaning public areas when needed
- Maintain the cleanliness of housekeeping closets and carts
- Manage time to complete all assigned tasks by the end of the shift
- Work as a team to ensure everything gets done daily
- Organization and thoroughness
- Preparing rooms in minimal length of time while respecting guest privacy
- Check and flip or report mattress rotation needs
- Follow all specified procedures as outlined in the employee handbook
