Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper storage and disposal methods
- Ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach frequently
- Willingness to work second shift hours including some weekends
- Ability to safely use cleaning tools and equipment

Job Duties
- Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules to maintain assigned areas
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks including high dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and floor care
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively in accordance with company and OSHA standards
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area for supplies and equipment
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support daily operations
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies to ensure a secure work environment
- Perform additional custodial tasks and related duties as assigned
