Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow safety standards
- Ability to pass a background check
- Capacity to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to work on-call, nights, weekends, and holidays according to operational needs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 plus year experience in housekeeping or custodial position preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning machines and tools
- Ability to complete required government training
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
Job Duties
- Ensure rooms are clean and fresh linens are on beds prior to check-in
- Place dirty or used linens in bags and remove from rooms to designated collection points
- Log and submit a list of rooms utilized during the occupancy period
- Assign crew member rooms and distribute keys upon check-in
- Collect keys upon check-out to prevent unauthorized access
- Provide back-up keys after hours on an on-call basis
- Resolve room issues and maintain a living document about room availability
- Perform initial deep cleaning of the facility within first two weeks
- Maintain floors through vacuuming, sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping, and spot cleaning
- Clean baseboards, corners, and edges of floors and walls
- Collect and remove trash
- Maintain outdoor grounds by picking up trash and debris
- Perform low and high dusting to keep surfaces free of dust, lint, cobwebs, and litter
- Clean indoor windows
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms including sinks, toilets, plumbing fixtures, showers, mirrors, vents, and countertops
- Maintain walls and grout free from buildup
- Flush toilets and run showers weekly
- Clean and disinfect kitchen areas including appliances and vents
- Maintain laundry area cleanliness and disinfect surfaces
- Routinely clean hallways, stairwells, and common areas to maintain a clean odor-free environment
