Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for prolonged periods
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication skills
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is preferred
Experience with janitorial services, industrial cleaning, or custodial work is advantageous
Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, and polishing floors is desirable
Background in housecleaning management or supervisory roles is a plus
Familiarity with cleaning equipment and eco-friendly cleaning products is beneficial

Job Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper floor care techniques such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing
Restock supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests and staff
Follow established protocols for sanitation and safety to meet health regulations
Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures during cleaning activities
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while interacting with guests and team members
