Job Requirements
- high school graduate or equivalent
- institutional housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to read write and follow verbal and written instructions
- ability to demonstrate correct use of work related chemicals supplies tools and equipment
- ability to collaborate with others to provide optimal customer service
- ability to lift and transport objects weighing up to 65lbs
- ability to stoop bend walk and stand for extended periods
- ability to work in all weather conditions
- ability to work from a ladder
- ability to push and move equipment and furniture
- manual dexterity coordination and skillful use of hands when working with required equipment

Job Duties
- perform routine cleaning of assigned areas using standard cleaning supplies and disinfectants
- sanitize room contents for terminal cleaning upon resident discharge
- clean apartments after resident move out or renovation in senior or assisted living settings
- note and report maintenance needs, carpet staining, or damage to housekeeping supervision
- move and relocate furniture, furnishings, and equipment for room changes or setups
- handle initial room setup and breakdown for meetings, banquets, and classes
- care for hard surface floors including dust mopping and damp mopping with proper safety signage
