Job Requirements
- High school education preferred but not required
- Prior experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs for clinical staff and up to 50 lbs for non-clinical staff
- Must be able to use assisted-lift devices or get assistance for heavier lifting
- Willingness to follow cleaning protocols and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in housekeeping or environmental services is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and customer service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of infection control practices
- Ability to follow safety protocols
Job Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks for patient and resident rooms
- Clean nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, and clinic areas
- Follow trash removal procedures
- Execute various cleaning types such as daily, discharge, terminal, and isolation cleaning
- Clean restrooms in public areas and patient rooms including showers
- Maintain office cleanliness
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions
