Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred
- Ability to lift carry push and pull up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
- Willingness to adapt to a variety of tasks including other duties as assigned
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to maintain guest privacy and property security
- On-site work at hotel property
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and products
- Strong organizational skills to manage tasks and prioritize work
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to respond to guest requests professionally
- Compliance with hotel safety and security protocols
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
Job Duties
- Clean and prepare guest rooms including making beds changing linens cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and dusting and vacuuming
- Clean and maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies hallways and common spaces
- Ensure cleaning supplies and amenities are well-stocked and request replenishments when necessary
- Report any maintenance or repair issues in guest rooms or public areas to the appropriate department
- Follow hotel procedures for handling and reporting lost and found items
- Assist with laundry duties including washing drying and folding linens and towels
- Respond to guest requests for additional amenities or services promptly and professionally
