Job Requirements
- Successfully completes all required background checks and pre-employment screenings

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of custodial, housekeeping, or general cleaning experience preferred
- Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with safe use of cleaning materials, tools, and equipment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform basic cleaning duties
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to learn new cleaning and safety methods
- Maintains professional appearance and respectful attitude
- Positive and helpful response to changes
- Demonstrates Christ-centered behavior and aligns with Patria Church's mission and values
Job Duties
- Embrace and act in accordance with the vision of Patria Church to Seek the Lost, Teach the Found, and Send the Disciples
- Model the spirit of Patria Church's guiding scripture by building a church community that supports and strengthens families
- Fulfill the four pillars of Patria Church namely Christ, Community, Character, and Commitment
- Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and public spaces across Patria Church, UCA, and APL
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors along with cleaning carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture
- Restock paper products, soap, and cleaning supplies while maintaining organized janitorial areas
- Assist with setup, preparation, and restoration of rooms for services, classes, meetings, and special events
- Provide hands-on support for conferences, VBS, church-wide celebrations, and large-scale events
- Coordinate with Facilities and Events teams for event timelines and work orders
- Report facility issues or maintenance needs promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA compliance
- Work cooperatively with Facilities staff and communicate respectfully with supervisors
- Demonstrate humility, integrity, professionalism, and reliability in all responsibilities
