Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of hospital areas including patient rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting rooms, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators and stairways
- Wash windows, walls, floors, beds and furniture upon patient discharge
- Apply clean linen on disinfected patient beds
- Utilize appropriate chemicals and supplies following procedure
- Use and maintain equipment properly
- Transport trash and hazardous waste to designated disposal areas
- Replenish supplies
- Report any furniture, fixture, building or equipment repairs to supervisor
- Follow all infection prevention and control practices including handwashing and isolation precautions
- Maintain set quality standards while performing job duties
- Complete work assignments timely
- Perform other duties as required
