Job Requirements
- Some knowledge of cleaning procedures
- ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work
- equivalent combination of training and experience
- effective communication skills
- ability to perform housekeeping duties
- willingness to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, reaching, squatting, and climbing
- adherence to safety procedures
- no valid NC Driver's License required
- no commercial driver's license required

Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize designated areas using standard cleaning assignments
- report any discrepancies, damages, or maintenance needs within buildings
- promptly respond to emergencies and inclement weather
- operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, mops, and scrubbers
- periodically strip and refinish floors, shampoo and extract carpets, and perform pressure washing
- remove and manage recycling from centralized indoor recycling sites
- assist with window washing and other seasonal cleaning tasks
- perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 lbs frequently and 60 lbs occasionally, bending, reaching, squatting, and climbing ladders
- adhere to safety procedures and maintain work areas
- communicate clearly and professionally with team members, supervisors, and the public
- perform snow and ice removal during inclement weather as part of a team
- perform team cleaning tasks and projects during breaks and when space is accessible
- fill in for absenteeism outside of assigned area as needed
