Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous housekeeping experience preferred
Ability to lift and carry moderate weight
Willingness to follow health and safety regulations
Reliable transportation to work
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Qualifications

Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
Effective communication in English with employees and residents
General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
Ability to retain orders up to four at one time
Strong organization and time management skills
Basic computer skills

Job Duties

Provide general housekeeping for community and resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning common areas
Clean and maintain resident apartments including defrosting refrigerators, changing linens, and emptying waste baskets
Perform deep cleaning duties focusing on carpets, plants, windows, and light fixtures
Launder linens by washing and drying in community laundry facilities
Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
Serve residents and guests meals and beverages, taking orders and delivering trays
Bus and clear dishes, reset dining areas, and complete side work including replenishing supplies and cleaning coffee maker
