Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role preferred
- ability to comprehend and follow safety and infection control instructions
- physical capacity to perform cleaning tasks including lifting
- valid driver’s license
- availability to work various shifts if required
- good team collaboration skills
- attention to detail

Job Duties
- Responsible for knowing and observing relevant fire and safety regulations as well as practicing infection control policies
- able to assist in facility emergencies such as cleaning carpets after flood and preparing for special events including setup and cleanup
- keep assigned areas clean meeting Eisenhower Center standards
- adhere to safety policies and chemical usage procedures and follow infection control protocols
- assist with special cleaning assignments such as cleaning windows, light fixtures, floor cleaning and other housekeeping tasks as assigned
- manage and use time effectively to complete regular tasks and scheduled breaks
- clean all client rooms, baths, showers, staff offices, therapy rooms and public areas daily
- clean floors, shampoo carpets, wash walls, and clean woodwork
- polish furniture in common areas and door plates
- collaborate with maintenance, food service, and rehab teams to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment
- perform other duties as assigned
