Job Requirements

Housekeeping experience required
Experience with basic housekeeping practices and procedures
Proper handling and disposal of infectious waste
Proper safety skills in handling housekeeping chemicals
Acute healthcare work experience involving heavy equipment
Ability to operate buffer extractors, wide area vacuums, and wet vacuums
Availability to work PRN shifts

Job Qualifications

Housekeeping experience utilizing basic housekeeping practices and procedures
Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of infectious waste
Ability to safely handle housekeeping chemicals
Acute healthcare work experience involving heavy equipment
Familiarity with buffer extractors, wide area vacuums, and wet vacuums
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards

Job Duties

Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and other areas
Follow established cleaning and disinfection protocols and procedures
Collect and dispose of waste, biohazardous waste and linens
Stock and maintain supplies in patient rooms and common areas
Respond to requests for cleaning services from healthcare staff
Operate heavy-duty equipment and use special cleaning equipment
Maintain compliance with safety standards and infection control practices
