Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Previous clinical housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Knowledge of infection control standards
- Ability to follow hospital cleaning procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to identify safety hazards and take appropriate action

Job Duties
- Clean assigned areas thoroughly ensuring compliance with infection control guidelines
- Stock assigned areas with supplies including linen, soiled linen bags, paper towels, soap, sanitizer, and toilet paper
- Vacuum, sweep, dust, mop, sanitize furniture, clean restrooms, walls, vents, and windows
- Follow hospital procedures for cleaning and documenting work performed
- Communicate cleanliness status to appropriate personnel especially regarding room readiness
- Comply with JCAHO, OSHA, and related standards for chemical and supply use
- Identify and report safety hazards in work areas and take measures to ensure safety
