Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
American citizen or Green Card holder
Willingness and ability to work 12 hours per day, 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
Must be able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
Ability to pass pre-employment drug test including testing for marijuana and other substances
Must adhere to company grooming standards regarding visible tattoos and piercings
Strict prohibition on alcohol consumption during employment
Willingness to undergo emergency and safety training required for shipboard operations
Temporary position lasting 28 weeks

Job Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age

Willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Exhibits a positive attitude and can work well under pressure
Ability to provide outstanding hospitality and guest service
Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and safety standards

Job Duties

Responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for our guests
Prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
Acknowledge guests by name and kindly take action for all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to American Cruise Lines' service standards
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
Organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
Carefully cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of necessary maintenance requests
Collecting and disposing of trash
Properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
Creating genuine relationships with our guests and catering to all housekeeping requests in an efficient manner
Performing additional duties such as greeting guests upon embarkation, helping during special events including afternoon tea and snacks, and participating in evening cocktail parties
