Job Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- one year of experience in a hospitality setting preferred
- ability to work safely with chemicals and cleaning products
- physical capacity to perform manual tasks including standing, walking, and lifting
- ability to follow safety protocols and work independently
- reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- One year of work experience in a hospitality environment preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, families, guests, and associates
- familiarity with safe handling of cleaning chemicals
- physical ability to stand, walk, reach, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl frequently
- ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds occasionally
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize residences and contents including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning kitchen and bath fixtures, turning mattresses, moving light furniture, emptying trash receptacles
- perform cleaning duties for resident apartments, offices, bathrooms, and common areas
- assist with cleaning and refurbishing vacated residences
- wash, dry, fold, and store linens and community laundry
- coordinate delivery and return of resident laundry
- keep housekeeping carts clean and stocked with appropriate supplies
- perform all other duties as assigned
