Job Description

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience in cleaning or related field
- Ability to understand English language instructions
- Manual dexterity for equipment operation
- Ability to perform essential job functions during an eight-hour shift
- Willingness to learn and perform tasks accurately with minimal supervision
- Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, reach overhead, lift 50 lbs, and stand or walk for entire shift
- Ability to work in varying conditions including hot, cold, dusty and noisy environments
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Maintain confidentiality
- Ability to respond to supervisory staff
- Flexible to meet occupants’ needs during the day
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Up to 2 years of related experience
- Ability to read and understand English instructions and safety data
- Manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision

- Ability to adapt to changing tasks throughout the workday
Job Duties
- Perform trash removal, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping, cleaning and disinfection of restrooms and shower rooms
- Clean windows, baseboards, trim and stairways
- Pick up and change linen of residential community and guest rooms
- Submit requests for or obtain stock supplies from storage
- Maintain cleanliness of faculty and staff offices, common meeting rooms, hallways and classrooms
- Operate maintenance and floor care equipment safely
- Adapt to task changes as needs arise throughout the day
