Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- institutional housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions
- ability to demonstrate correct use of work-related chemicals, supplies, tools and equipment
- ability to collaborate with others to provide optimal customer service
- ability to lift and transport objects weighing up to 65 pounds
- ability to stoop, bend, walk and stand for extended periods of time
- ability to work in all weather conditions
- ability to work from a ladder
- ability to push and move equipment and furniture
- manual dexterity, coordination and skillful use of hands when working with required equipment

Job Duties
- Performs routine cleaning of assigned areas using standard cleaning supplies and disinfectants
- sanitizes rooms post resident discharge for terminal cleaning
- cleans apartments in senior or assisted living settings after resident moves or renovations
- moves and relocates furniture, furnishings, and equipment upon room changes or move outs
- handles initial room setup and breakdown for meetings, banquets, and classes
- cares for hard surface floors including dust mopping and damp mopping with caution signs
- spot cleans soiled carpets and upholstery as needed
