Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
 - Prior experience in housekeeping, environmental services or related position is a plus
 - Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear
 - Ability to lift up to 35 pounds for clinical staff and 50 pounds for non-clinical staff
 - Ability to use assisted-lift device or get help for lifts exceeding weight limits
 - Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation
 
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
 - Prior experience in housekeeping or environmental services or related position is a plus
 - Knowledge of various cleaning procedures and protocols
 - Ability to follow instructions and work independently
 - Good customer service skills
 - Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
 - Familiarity with healthcare sanitation standards is desirable
 
Job Duties
- Performs daily cleaning tasks for patient and resident rooms
 - Cleans nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, and clinic areas
 - Removes trash according to facility procedures
 - Applies knowledge of different cleaning types including daily, discharge, terminal, and isolation cleaning
 - Cleans restrooms in public areas and patient rooms including showers
 - Provides cleaning service to office areas
 - Maintains customer service standards when interacting with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff
