Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to provide housekeeping and laundry services that meet or exceed quality standards
- Desire to work with seniors
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Good judgment and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently following procedures
- Must complete and pass required background checks and drug tests
- Compliance with safety and infection control protocols
- Willingness to participate in required training and meetings

- Ability to perform tasks with frequent interruptions
Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas while meeting or exceeding Sunrise quality standards
- Perform cleaning duties according to schedule including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing lavatory and sink fixtures, cleaning furniture, dusting lamps, and polishing surfaces
- Knock on residents and public restroom doors before entering and respect privacy
- Maintain equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly condition
- Transport supplies including clean and soiled linen to appropriate areas
- Collect trash and maintain trash receptacles and collection areas in a sanitary manner
- Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and inspecting linens
- Assist Care Managers with resident care when requested
- Practice positive resident relations and respond to resident requests
- Ensure cleaning chemicals are stored and locked when not in use
- Maintain compliance with safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, and Lockout Tagout
- Participate as a team member and commit to team goals
- Attend regular meetings and maintain required training compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
