Brighton Court, located in Spokane Valley, WA, is a well-established assisted living and memory care community dedicated to providing exceptional care and a homelike environment for its 49 residents. The community consists of 36 assisted living units and 13 memory care units, all situated on one convenient level that enhances accessibility and safety for its residents. Job Requirements
- must love working with seniors
- detail orientated
- able to work unsupervised
- availability to work friday through sunday for 20 hours weekly
- willingness to follow safety and infection control procedures
- ability to perform physical tasks associated with housekeeping
- reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience working in a healthcare or assisted living environment is an advantage
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to follow safety and infection control protocols
- compassionate and patient demeanor
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and moving furniture
Job Duties
- utilizes protective gear as directed
- professionally clean and maintain property
- use cleaning products and procedures as directed by company standards
- sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing all surfaces
- move all reasonably portable furniture in rooms to clean under and behind
- assist with laundry as needed
- responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions
- interact appropriately with residents, families and other personnel
- follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
- follow proper reporting, isolation and handwashing procedures and techniques
