Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • less than 1 year of related work experience

Job Duties

  • Perform planned preventive maintenance in guest rooms including mattress turning and inspection
  • assemble bed frames
  • vacuum behind and under furniture
  • remove stains from carpets and upholstery
  • dust and touch up paint and furnishings
  • ensure all fixtures and appliances are present and operational in guest rooms
  • replace lighting fixtures
  • inspect grout and caulking
  • perform minor miscellaneous repairs such as adjusting loose toilet seats, changing bulbs, filling wall holes
  • clean all surfaces in guest rooms including bathtubs, tiles, floors, walls, windows, mirrors
  • immediately communicate serious maintenance issues or safety hazards to manager or supervisor
  • comply with company safety policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, participate in safety training and obtain certifications
  • maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • safeguard confidential information and company property
  • greet guests according to company standards and anticipate their service needs
  • develop positive work relationships and support team goals
  • perform physical activities including lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, transporting items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • assist with heavier items
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during work shifts
  • perform other reasonable job duties as assigned
