Job Requirements
- Age 18 or over or proper work permit
- Background clearance per government regulations
- Negative TB test within last 6 months or within 7 days of employment
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, stoop, push and pull
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and maneuver cleaning equipment
- Must adhere to PPE policies
- Must comply with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements
- Must not be an excluded party under Medicare or Medicaid guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to follow oral and written directions
- Ability to interact effectively with people of different ages and backgrounds
- Demonstrated superior customer service skills
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Clean resident apartments, common areas and offices including furnishings, fixtures, and floors
- Ensure appropriate caution and safety signs are posted during cleaning tasks
- Report health, safety or sanitation concerns and needed repairs
- Follow work and cleaning schedules strictly
- Remove trash and waste regularly
- Maintain clean and hazard-free work areas
- Use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment in compliance with safety protocols
