Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • CPR or BLS certificate preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing
  • moving

  • lifting up to 50 pounds independently
  • occasional lifting up to 200 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to use internet browsers and Microsoft Office programs

Job Duties

  • Perform sweeping
  • mopping
  • dusting
  • vacuuming
  • laundry
  • trash removal
  • Clean according to daily
  • weekly
  • monthly schedules in assigned areas including resident apartments
  • common areas
  • restrooms
  • offices
  • Collect and launder soiled linens following health and hygiene policies
  • Fold
  • sort
  • and distribute clean laundry
  • Report supply and equipment needs to supervisor
  • restock supplies as needed
  • Coordinate with maintenance to report repairs
  • Communicate effectively with residents’ families regarding care
  • Work well with others and take direction from management
  • intervene and resolve conflicts involving residents
  • families
  • and staff
  • Lift and move up to 50 pounds independently
  • occasionally lift and move up to 200 pounds with assistance
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned to meet community needs
