Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Effective communication skills in English
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to operate laundry equipment and cleaning tools safely
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain orders up to four at one time
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for both the community as a whole and individual resident apartments
- Clean and defrost refrigerators in apartments as needed
- Change beds and linens and ensure adequate linen supplies
- Perform deep cleaning of apartments including carpets, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder all linens using provided laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests to serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads
- Take resident orders for meals, serve meals and desserts
- Return cart to kitchen and store perishable items
- Deliver trays to resident rooms if needed
- Bus and clear dishes from tables
- Sanitize dining areas including tables and chairs
- Vacuum carpets in dining and common areas
- Complete side work such as filling sugar holders and cleaning coffee makers
- Perform other duties as assigned
