Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience beneficial
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capacity to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor
- Willingness to follow established safety and sanitary procedures
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain orders up to four at one time
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for both the community and individual resident apartments, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning common areas
- Clean and defrost refrigerators as needed and check heat system filters in resident apartments
- Change bed linens and ensure ample linen supplies in each apartment
- Launder all linens using provided laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests with a smile and serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads from the cart
- Review menu items clearly, take resident meal orders, and serve meals and desserts
- Assist with storage of perishable items and deliver trays to rooms if necessary
- Bus and clear dishes from tables after meals and sanitize tables and chairs
- Complete side work such as replenishing sugar holders and cleaning coffee makers
- Perform other duties as assigned
