- High school diploma, GED or combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
- previous housekeeping experience in a hospital setting preferred
- valid driver’s license preferred

Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks of patient rooms, offices, and public areas while ensuring a safe and risk preventative environment within OSHA regulations
- ensure that adequate linens are kept in the hospital
- report any situations that may affect health and well-being of patients or employees
- assure that supply closets are kept clean and orderly
- responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials in accordance with OSHA
- report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor
- submit any patient personal belongings left behind to nursing supervisor
- follows policies and procedures for terminal cleaning of a room
- follows instructions in use of germicidal solutions when cleaning
- use safety precautions in all housekeeping services
