Job Requirements
- High School Diploma GED Trade School Diploma or equivalent
- Comparable work experience
- Experience operating vacuum cleaner and high speed buffer
- Ability to lift and move furniture appliances etc
- Ability to stand for several hours during shift and climb stairs in emergencies
- Experience working with special needs populations a plus
- Basic knowledge of computer use a plus but not required

Job Duties
- Sweep mop wash dust and vacuum
- Seal wax and buff floors and hard surfaces
- Maintain sidewalks including sweeping raking leaves and shoveling snow
- Clean individual units when vacated or requested by work order
- Sort and package recyclables to comply with NYC regulations
- Operate compactor
- Set up and clean up for meetings and other events
- Assist painters and engineers when assigned
- Perform work at other facilities as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
