Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be energetic, self-motivated, and dependable
- Availability for day shifts and weekends
- Ability to pass physical examination and background check
- Proof of legal status to work
- Ability to understand and speak English
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Willingness to follow established cleaning procedures and schedules

- Ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows safe and efficient performance of the job
- Demonstrated service orientation in previous roles
- Ability to utilize cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment properly after initial training
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Perform all housekeeping department-related tasks demonstrating service orientation to fellow employees, client staff and customers
- Perform basic cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods including dusting horizontal surfaces, emptying wastebaskets, damp wipe cleaning all furniture, cleaning and polishing metal fixtures in bathrooms, mopping and sanitizing floors, spot cleaning walls, polishing metal surfaces, replenishing room supplies, performing check-out cleaning as assigned, vacuuming carpets, spot cleaning as needed, sorting and distributing linen, transporting soiled linen to central collection point
- Perform heavier cleaning functions in assigned areas including dusting and wet mopping floors, assisting in cleaning of emergency spills upon request, maintaining assigned equipment for cleanliness, recommending repairs as needed, observe and report general need for repairs to equipment, furniture, building and fixtures
- Perform all other tasks which may be assigned
