Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift and carry moderate weights
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Basic English proficiency for communication
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to follow all safety and sanitation protocols
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading writing and math skills
- Effective communication in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain up to four orders simultaneously
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills
- Experience in housekeeping or food service roles preferred
Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for community and resident apartments including vacuuming dusting and cleaning common areas dining rooms hallways patios and apartments
- Clean and defrost refrigerators and check heating system filters in resident apartments
- Change beds and linens ensuring adequate linen supplies in every apartment
- Perform deep cleaning tasks paying attention to entry areas carpets plants pictures railings windows and light fixtures
- Launder all linens using the provided laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests to serve beverages cereals and soups or salads from the cart
- Review menu with residents take orders serve meals and desserts
- Return cart to kitchen and assist with storage of perishable items deliver trays to resident rooms if needed
- Bus and clear tables after meals sanitize tables and chairs vacuum carpets reset for next meal
- Complete side work including refilling sugar holders replenishing creamers and cleaning coffeemaker
- Perform additional duties as assigned
