Job Requirements

Minimum age of eighteen
Proof of American citizenship or Green Card
Willingness to work extended hours including 12-hour shifts seven days a week
Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for long periods
Successful pre-employment drug screening
Compliance with company grooming standards
No alcohol consumption during employment
Availability for temporary, 28-week contract position
Commitment to safety and emergency training

Job Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
American citizen or Green Card holder
Willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, seven days a week, for up to 28 weeks
Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing, and walking
Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing including tests for controlled substances
Adherence to company grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
Dedication to delivering exceptional guest service and hospitality

Job Duties

Responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for guests
Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
Acknowledge guests by name and respond kindly to housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to company standards
Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
Organize inventory and stock linen and supplies
Carefully clean up spills with appropriate equipment and notify managers of maintenance requests
Collect and dispose of trash
Properly clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
Create genuine relationships with guests and efficiently cater to housekeeping requests
Participate in special events such as greeting guests during embarkation, afternoon tea and snacks, and evening cocktail parties
