Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day
- availability to work 7 days a week
- willingness to work for up to 28 weeks
- capacity to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and prolonged standing or walking
- pass mandatory pre-employment drug test including marijuana
- abstain from alcohol consumption during employment
- meet grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- willingness to complete emergency and safety training
- temporary employment commitment not exceeding 28 weeks
- ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- willingness and ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week
- ability to work up to 28 weeks in a temporary shipboard position
- moderate physical fitness to handle lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
- ability to maintain composure and positive attitude under pressure
- willingness to comply with grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- ability to pass pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
- commitment to abstain from alcohol consumption while onboard
- emergency and safety training completion
- strong interpersonal skills
- a dedication to providing conscientious and safe service to guests
Job Duties
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for guests
- prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas
- acknowledge guests by name and respond to housekeeping inquiries and requests according to service standards
- vacuum, sweep, and mop floors regularly
- organize inventory and stock linen and supplies
- clean up spills using appropriate equipment and notify managers of maintenance needs
- collect and dispose of trash properly
- clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces thoroughly
- build genuine relationships with guests and cater to housekeeping requests efficiently
- participate in special events such as greeting guests upon embarkation, afternoon tea, snacks, and evening cocktail parties
