Job Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- Willingness to comply with pre-employment drug testing including testing for marijuana and controlled substances
- Commitment to abstain from alcohol consumption while onboard
- Ability to perform emergency and safety functions essential to the safe operation of the ship
- Adherence to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure

Job Duties
- Responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for our guests
- Prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
- Acknowledge guests by name and kindly take action for all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to American Cruise Lines’ service standards
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
- Carefully cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of necessary maintenance requests
- Collecting and disposing of trash
- Properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
- Creating genuine relationships with our guests and catering to all housekeeping requests in an efficient manner
- Performing additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, assisting during special events including afternoon tea, snacks, and participating in evening cocktail parties
