Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of eighteen years
  • Valid American citizenship or Green Card status
  • Ability to commit to 28 weeks of temporary shipboard work
  • Capacity to work long hours daily including weekends
  • Undergoing pre-employment drug testing
  • Compliance with company grooming standards
  • Abstinence from alcohol consumption while on duty
  • Completion of safety and emergency training
  • Physical ability to perform job tasks including lifting and prolonged standing
  • Temporary employment not exceeding 28 weeks

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
  • Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing or walking for extended periods
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
  • Effective communication skills
  • Willingness to adhere to grooming standards and company policies

Job Duties

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for guests
  • Prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
  • Acknowledge guests by name and respond kindly to all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to company standards
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
  • Organizing inventory and stocking linens and supplies
  • Cleaning spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of maintenance needs
  • Collecting and disposing of trash
  • Properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
  • Creating genuine relationships with guests and catering to housekeeping requests efficiently
  • Assisting with greeting guests upon embarkation and supporting special events such as afternoon tea and evening cocktail parties
