Job Requirements

At least a high school diploma or equivalent
Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to company policies
Must commit to the full 28-week seasonal assignment
Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks
Must pass a pre-employment drug test
Must adhere to company grooming and conduct standards
Flexible to work various shifts including weekends
Willingness to work onboard a cruise ship in a team environment

Job Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old
Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing or walking for extended periods
Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug testing
Adherence to grooming standards including limits on visible tattoos and piercings
Ability to maintain composure and a positive attitude under pressure

Job Duties

Create and maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests
Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas
Acknowledge guests by name and handle housekeeping-related inquiries and requests according to service standards
Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
Organize inventory and stock linen and supplies
Clean up spills and notify management of maintenance needs
Collect and dispose of trash
Properly clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
Build genuine relationships with guests and efficiently cater to housekeeping requests
Assist with guest greetings upon embarkation and support special events such as afternoon tea and evening cocktail parties
