Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must be American citizen or Green Card holder
- Must be willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week
- Must be able to perform moderate physical tasks including lifting, bending, climbing, and prolonged standing or walking
- Must pass pre-employment drug testing including marijuana and other controlled substances
- Must abide by company grooming standards regarding visible tattoos and piercings
- Must have a positive attitude and maintain composure under pressure
- Must be available for a temporary 28-week shipboard employment period
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder

- Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
- Previous hospitality experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for our guests
- Prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
- Acknowledge guests by name and kindly take action for all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to American Cruise Lines’ service standards
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
- Carefully cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of necessary maintenance requests
- Collecting and disposing of trash
- Properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
- Creating genuine relationships with our guests and catering to all housekeeping requests in an efficient manner
- Performing other functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation and helping during special events including afternoon tea, snacks, and evening cocktail parties
