Job Requirements
- Be at least eighteen years old
- Hold American citizenship or a Green Card
- Willing and able to work long hours and extended weeks
- Meet moderate physical fitness requirements
- Successfully pass drug screening
- Abstain from alcohol consumption while on duty
- Comply with grooming and appearance standards
- Commit to temporary employment of 28 weeks
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Thrive in a team-oriented environment
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week up to 28 weeks
- Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test including testing for marijuana and other controlled substances
- Must adhere to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and composure under pressure
- Strong commitment to safe and conscientious service
- Willingness to comply with safety and emergency training requirements
Job Duties
- Responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for guests
- Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
- Acknowledge guests by name and kindly take action for all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to company service standards
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Organize inventory and stock linen and supplies
- Carefully clean up spills with appropriate equipment and notify managers of necessary maintenance requests
- Collect and dispose of trash
- Properly clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
- Create genuine relationships with guests and cater to all housekeeping requests efficiently
- Greet guests upon embarkation and assist during special events such as afternoon tea, snacks, and evening cocktail parties
- Perform other housekeeping and hospitality duties as assigned
