Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- Willingness and ability to work 12-hour shifts for 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
- Capability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
- Passing pre-employment drug test including Marijuana and other controlled substances
- Compliance with grooming standards regarding visible tattoos and piercings
- No consumption of alcohol during employment
- Participation in emergency and safety training essential to ship operations
- Temporary employment limited to 28 weeks shipboard work
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- Ability to work 12 hours per day, 7 days a week for 28 weeks
- Experience in hospitality or customer service is beneficial but not required
- Ability to meet moderate physical demands such as lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for long periods
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure and positive attitude under pressure
Job Duties
- Creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests
- Prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas
- Acknowledging guests by name and addressing housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
- Cleaning spills with appropriate equipment and notifying management of maintenance needs
- Collecting and disposing of trash
- Cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge areas
- Building genuine relationships with guests and efficiently catering to their housekeeping requests
- Greeting guests during embarkation and assisting during special events such as afternoon teas and cocktail parties
