Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Willingness and ability to work 12-hour shifts for 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
  • Capability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
  • Passing pre-employment drug test including Marijuana and other controlled substances
  • Compliance with grooming standards regarding visible tattoos and piercings
  • No consumption of alcohol during employment
  • Participation in emergency and safety training essential to ship operations
  • Temporary employment limited to 28 weeks shipboard work

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Ability to work 12 hours per day, 7 days a week for 28 weeks
  • Experience in hospitality or customer service is beneficial but not required
  • Ability to meet moderate physical demands such as lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for long periods
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain composure and positive attitude under pressure

Job Duties

  • Creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests
  • Prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas
  • Acknowledging guests by name and addressing housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
  • Organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
  • Cleaning spills with appropriate equipment and notifying management of maintenance needs
  • Collecting and disposing of trash
  • Cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge areas
  • Building genuine relationships with guests and efficiently catering to their housekeeping requests
  • Greeting guests during embarkation and assisting during special events such as afternoon teas and cocktail parties
