Job Requirements
- No previous experience required
- Ability to perform essential housekeeping duties
- Availability for primarily evening shifts starting at 3 PM or 4 PM
- Willingness to work full-time or part-time schedules
- Ability to work rotating weekends
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients visitors and staff
- Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle physical aspects of the job such as lifting and bending
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning is a plus but not mandatory
Job Duties
- Provide quality customer service by giving one-on-one attention to detail
- Sweep scrubs mop and polish floors
- Vacuum carpets rugs and draperies
- Shampoo carpets rugs and upholstery
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings
- Empty and clean trash containers
- Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner
- Clean wash basins mirrors tubs and showers
- Wipe down glass surfaces
- Make up beds and change linens as required
- Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
- Respond to guest queries and requests
- Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses
- Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers fellow associates and others
- Perform other duties as assigned
