Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous hospitality or housekeeping experience preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to follow company policies and safety regulations
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift moderate weights
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week up to 28 weeks
- Able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug test
- Compliance with grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
- Commitment to no alcohol consumption during work
- Willingness to participate in emergency and safety training
Job Duties
- Create and maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests
- Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas
- Acknowledge guests by name and respond to housekeeping inquiries and requests according to company standards
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Organize inventory and stock linen and supplies
- Clean up spills using appropriate equipment and report maintenance needs
- Collect and dispose of trash
- Properly clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
- Build genuine relationships with guests and efficiently handle housekeeping requests
- Assist with guest greetings during embarkation and support special onboard events such as afternoon tea and evening cocktail parties
