Job Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must be American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
  • Must be able to meet physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other substances
  • Must comply with company grooming standards
  • Temporary position limited to 28 weeks
  • Prohibition on alcohol consumption while working onboard
  • Ability to perform emergency and safety functions
  • Willingness to work under pressure with a positive attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen years old
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week up to 28 weeks
  • Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing or walking for extended periods
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing including for marijuana and other controlled substances
  • Compliance with grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
  • Ability to adhere to safety and emergency procedures training
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service

Job Duties

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests
  • Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
  • Acknowledge guests by name and take action on housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to company standards
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
  • Organize inventory and stock linen and supplies
  • Clean up spills with appropriate equipment and notify managers of maintenance requests
  • Collect and dispose of trash
  • Properly clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
  • Develop genuine relationships with guests and efficiently respond to housekeeping requests
  • Perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting during special events
