Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to provide housekeeping and laundry services meeting quality standards
- Desire to work with seniors
- Ability to comply with safety guidelines including chemical storage and infection control
- Ability to maintain equipment and supplies
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and perform tasks with frequent interruptions
- Ability to follow community procedures and demonstrate initiative
- Experience working in resident-centered environments

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas
- Perform cleaning duties according to schedule including sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, wet mopping, spot cleaning, vacuuming floors, rugs, carpets, and runners
- Clean, sanitize, and polish lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures
- Dust, wash, sponge mop, sanitize, and hand shampoo furniture, dust desk and floor lamps, clean and polish glass surfaces, woodwork, walls, and windowsills
- Knock on resident and public restroom doors before entering and respect privacy
- Maintain equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly condition
- Transport supplies including clean and soiled linen to appropriate areas
- Collect trash and maintain trash receptacles and collection areas
- Collect, clean, sort, wash, dry, fold, count, stack, and inspect community laundry
- Maintain commercial laundry in a clean and sanitary condition
- Assist Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident care when requested
- Respond to resident requests and document resident feedback
- Review, read, notate, and initial Daily Log for resident information
- Ensure cleaning chemicals are safely stored and locked
- Keep cords, carts, and equipment out of hazards and comply with fire and safety codes
- Adhere to occupational health and safety requirements and risk management programs
- Practice safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, Safety Data Sheets, and Lockout Tagout
- Comply with infection control techniques and bio-hazard protocols
- Participate in team goals and engagement activities
- Attend regular meetings and training
- Perform other duties as assigned
