Job Requirements
- Ability to read labels and follow oral and written instructions in English
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and to take appropriate action
- Ability to visually assess all aspects of facility
- Ability to distinguish smells and temperatures and to hear and respond to pages
- Ability to walk, reach, bend, lift, grasp, pull, stretch, stoop and have fine hand coordination
- Ability to lift and move furniture and heavy items weighing approximately 40 pounds
Job Qualifications

- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred
Job Duties
- Provide quality housekeeping services
- Clean assigned areas including resident rooms and bathrooms
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, infection control, and safety
- Plan efficient use of time to minimize disruption to residents and staff
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Assist in maintaining adequate departmental supplies
- Cooperate with other staff and departments
