Job Requirements

Ability to stand for 8 hours continuously
Ability to lift, grasp, or carry up to 25 pounds
Ability to bend with full range of motion
Ability to walk up to 8 hours
Repeated bending for up to 4 hours
Ability to walk on uneven or slippery surfaces
Understanding of English when receiving instructions
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours
Compliance with hotel policies on attendance and attire
Ability to use all required equipment safely and properly

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel cleaning preferred
Ability to follow detailed cleaning and safety procedures
Basic proficiency in English to understand instructions
Ability to use basic computer programs such as Excel and Word
Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums
Knowledge of proper chemical handling and safety

Job Duties

Inspect all areas of the hotel including guest rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met
Make beds using hospital corners with wrinkle-free finish
Clean bathrooms with appropriate cleaners ensuring chrome and tile are spotless
Dust rooms including wall hangings, furniture, glass, molding, and lamps
Ensure all guest supplies are restocked in guest rooms
Vacuum rooms and hallways
