Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- commitment to safety and compliance with OSHA regulations
- ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- Experience in housekeeping or custodial services
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- ability to follow safety and sanitation policies
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- reliable and detail oriented
Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident rooms, public areas and support areas as assigned
- collect, clean and redistribute community laundry
- ensure community is in compliance with OSHA
- practice safety procedures at all times including personal protective equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, material safety data sheets (MSDS), and lockout tagout procedures
