Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physically able to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and bending
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Effective communication in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain orders up to four at one time
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for both the community and resident apartments including vacuuming and dusting
- Clean main entryway, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and resident apartments
- Deep clean apartments as needed including carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder all linens by washing and drying in laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests to serve beverages, cereals, and soups or salads from the cart
- Take resident meal orders and serve meals and desserts courteously
- Return cart to kitchen and assist with perishable item storage
- Bus and clear dishes from tables, sanitize tables and chairs, vacuum carpets
- Complete side work such as filling sugar holders and cleaning coffeemaker
- Perform other duties as assigned
